on the site

We're happy to feature most boardgame related content. We do not do paid reviews, some games we own, some games we are gifted and some are review copies.

Gifting, Review Copies & Events

When reviewing games, we ensure that they are played a number of times before we write the review, this is to try and capture as many aspects of the game as possible for a fair and considered review. There is no guarantee of a favourable review but we will often choose to not review a product if it we're not enjoying it. Any pre-agreed photography will still be sent through as promised.

 

Any gifted items (excluding events) will be donated to a suitable charity when it's time to leave the collection. Review copies will be returned to the sender and the sender's cost or will be donated after 60 days if this isn't arranged.

 

We are based in Northamptonshire, UK. In some situations, travel expenses may be incurred if you'd like us to feature your event.

 

Re-using Website Content

We are happy for you to feature quotes to the articles on this site or our social media channels alongside a credit back to the original source. If you are unable to do so then please get in touch and we can discuss it further.

 

Photography use must be pre-agreed before use.

We do not currently collect affiliate payments through the site. Any affiliate links will be clearly labelled alongside a link to boardgameprices.co.uk where possible.

 

In our experience, it is very rare for an unsealed hobby boardgame to be cheaper on Amazon or other online marketplaces. They have also been known to send foreign language or in some cases fake copies of games. For this reason we do not promote online marketplaces but our readers have the choice to shop there with diligence.
